Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When I try to start VideoGenesis I get the error:
"No effects are installed on your system. Please install
ACDSee 4.x or 5.x before using VideoGenesis."
A: VideoGenesis for ACDSee requires the filters that are installed with FotoCanavas,
the ACDSee editor. If you return to the ACDSee installer (you can
access it through Add/Remove Programs) and add FotoCanvas to your
installation, VideoGenesis will work.
Q: Does VideoGenesis support Quicktime (.mov) videos?
A: Not yet. Quicktime will be supported in a future version of VideoGenesis .
Q: Will Magic Kite make other plug-ins for ACDSee?
A: Yes! VideoGenesis is just the first. We also have plans for stand-alone
software. Please continue to visit magickite.com for updates, or join our
low-volume mailing list to receive Magic Kite news in your Inbox.
